If you're trying to up your bubble bath game, look no further.
A bubble bath? Don’t mind if I do! When Lizzie McGuire said “hey now, hey now, this is what dreams are made of,” I’m 1000% positive that she was talking about taking a relaxing bath. I will never forget the impact that this song had on my literal soul.
TBH, bubble baths are basically my happy place. What’s yours? If a bubble bath is your happy place too, you may be looking for ways to elevate your bath game, especially if your bath routine is currently water and soap 🙂 hey, no one's judging, but what cute things do you need to step up your bubble bath game? What about way less cute things like a dry brush?
Okay besties, get ready, *choir singing* because I’m giving away my secrets to elevating a bubble bath.
Bubble Bath
1. Best Bubble Bath
Although I love me a pretty bubble bath, I think a bubble bath should be all about feeling a certain way rather than looking a certain way. The best bubble will simply make your heart really tingling and happy.
Just to be clear, we’re all spending a couple of hours taking a bubble bath? Right? Also, is anyone else craving a bubble like crazy right now, or just me?!
2. Waterproof Shower Speaker
When you include a waterproof shower speaker as part of your bath routine, you will immediately start acting different.
I meeeaaan, you’ll basically throw your own concert in the bubble bath by jamming out to fun music. After all, listening to Taylor Swift while taking a bubble bath is a mood.
3. Luxury Bubble Bath
I feel like a luxury bubble bath truly speaks to every girl’s heart. As a girl who always likes feeling like a queen, I’m always on the hunt for products that will make me feel like royalty.
One way to transform an ordinary bath into a luxurious, relaxing soak is to add some fragrant petals to the water. You will seriously love this spa-like soak without the luxurious price tag. We feeling boujee today, besties.
4. Bathtub Tray
O….M…Geez! If you already have a bathtub tray, I might quite literally be obsessed with you. We have a soul connection because you take your bubble baths seriously just like I do.
Not to be dramatic, but the day you get a bathtub tray for your bubble baths is the day you’ll completely fall in love with your bath routine. I highly encourage you to try it out for yourself.
5. Projector
The secret to a blissful bubble bath? Watching sex in the city with my projector.
I think a projector is seriously everything and such a great way to watch movies.
6. Lights For Bathtub
Every bath is prettier with romantic lights, wouldn’t you agree? If you don’t mind being extra (or even prefer it), you can enhance your bubble bath with some gorgeous lights for bathtub.
7. Jade Roller
I recently started using a jade roller while taking a bath, which is #selfcaregoals.
Every girl needs a good facial tool during a bubble bath, and a jade roller is my favorite one.
8. Infused Water
Bubble baths are so much better when us girls stay hydrated, but something about drinking just basic water during a luxurious soak seems really wrong to me.
Your task for your next bubble bath: Sip on some gorgeous infused water.
Did I just change your mind about water? 🙂 I’m pretty sure infused water will be your new favorite because not only does it hit different, it also has soooo many amazing health benefits.
9. Bubble Bath Products
Besties, say it with me: We do NOT do a bubble bath without some fabulous bubble bath products.
I basically feel like I would cease to exist if I couldn’t take a bath with some amazing bubble bath products.
10. Candles
You know what they say, a bath won’t ever be complete without some candles. How many candles is too many, though? NOT asking for a friend.
IMO, there’s no such thing as too many candles for a bath, and you may feel the same. The more candles you light, the more you give your bubble bath a relaxing vibe. This is adulthood bliss.
11. Bath Bombs
A bubble bath is not a bubble bath, unless it has some bath bombs. Am I right? I truly think they are the perfect way to give your bath that “pop” you’re looking for.
Bath bombs are made of something truly magical, and for some reason, I love watching bath bombs fizz. It’s so satisfying to me. A must for your next relaxing bath.
12. Jet Bath Spa
Bubble baths just got real, besties. Let me guess: You didn’t know that you needed a jet bath spa in your life until now. I honestly just found out about this, but now my life has forever changed, and I’ll never go back to basic bubble baths.
A jet bath spa is for my girls who take their bubble baths seriously. Does it get any better? No, not really….
13. Bubble Bath Soap
Who wants a boring bubble bath when you can spruce it up with bubble bath soap?
If you already use bubble bath soap, I just know you smell hella bomb.
14. Silicone Body Scrubber
If you needed a sign to get rid of that old and yucky loofah, this is definitely it. When I tell you a loofah is not worth it, it’s not worth it. It’s giving gross.
When you discover the benefits of a silicone body scrubber, immediately, you’ll want to get it.
A silicone body scrubber is my favorite thing for a reason. It gently exfoliates the skin and quickly lathers soap. Best of all, it doesn’t harbor harmful bacteria. I know you’re too stunned to speak.
15. Plants
Want to reenergize and gain clarity? Just add a plant to your bath routine.
Studies show that plants can increase energy and improve mental health.
16. Essential Oils Diffuser
Do you want to include something in your bath routine that sends your senses to a luxury spa? The easiest “yes” in your life, right?
When there’s an essential oils diffuser in your bathroom, there’s always spa vibes. Anyone ever tell you that?
I’m a huge fan of diffusing essential oils because they help you relax and make the bathroom smell amazing.
17. Charcuterie Board
Does anyone else like to eat snacks and stuff in the bath? I can’t be the only one!
If you love fancy snacks, don’t even think about taking a bath without a charcuterie board.
18. Chocolate
What’s better than taking a bubble bath with chocolate….I’ll wait.
“Chocolate is actally a part of a well-balanced diet,” says some girl on Tik Tok. I honestly can’t remember who said it, but chocolate during a bath is definitely the answer.
19. Wine
I don’t know about you, but taking a bath without wine or sparkling water just feels criminal.
If wine or sparkling water isn’t your jam, you can always choose to see your bath through rosé, gin, or vodka-colored glasses.
No but when you close your eyes, you’re actually having a drink somewhere around the Mediterranean Sea. A girl can dream, right? I’m still dreaming about my trip to Europe 🙂
20. Essential Oils
If you’re not talkin’ a bubble bath with essential oils, don’t talk to me. Kidding, obvi.
Essentials are the perfect thing to elevate any bubble bath, and they are the perfect stress reliever. I seriously cannot say enough good things.
21. Bathtub Pillow
If you take baths often, then you know the uncomfortable feeling of resting your head on the edge of the tub, right?
You guys, I recently just discovered a bathtub pillow, and I know you and me both are going to start obsessing. A bathtub pillow really makes the tub so comfortable. Love. LOVE.
22. Books
For me, a good book is necessary for a good bath.
I think I have like five on my bath tray at one time because I love them so much!
23. Towel
If you don’t have fluffy towels for your bath routine, is taking a bath even worth it?
Fluffy towels really give your bath that special touch.
24. Towel Warmer
Okay, wait this is genius! When was the last time you stepped out of the bath into a warm towel? Never? I know I can’t be the only one who hates being greeted with a cold towel.
A towel warmer is truly next-level, and it’s not a want but an actual need.
You need it. You need it. You need it. So, did you convince yourself that you need it? I know in my heart of hearts that you neeeeeeed this!
25. Eye Masks
Fun fact: Eye masks are actually life-changing. I swear these bad boys make my eyes feel super refreshed and hydrated. During my bath, I like to leave eye masks on for about twenty minutes.
26. Face Mask
Should you take a bubble with a face mask? The answer is: ALWAYS.
Face masks can make your bubble bath 10000X more enjoyable (guaranteed).
27. Epson Salt
#IMO Bubble bath = Epson salts. Okay, but your already knew this!
For my girls who don’t already know, Epson salts can make the biggest difference, especially if you’re looking for something to reduce stress hormones, draw out toxins, and balance pH levels.
Who’s adding Epson salts to her next bath?
28. Electric Candle Lighter
If you love candles, don’t be surprised if an electric candle lighter basically hops in your cart.
It’s a total must-have for girls who light 24,000 candles during their bath routine.
You will really love the esthetic of an electric candle lighter too.
29. Dry Brush
Dry brushing should be a part of your bubble bath routine, period. If you don’t know the benefits of dry brushing, you should definitely look them up!
I just want to share that dry brushing is awesome at exfoliating the skin, increasing circulation, and getting rid of toxins.
I know you’ll be completely hooked on dry brushing when you try it, but they say you should only dry brush once to twice a week.
30. Bubble Bath For Sensitive Skin
I don’t know if I’ve shared this before, but your girl has (had?) eczema. I honestly have to be really careful what products I use, but luckily my eczema hasn’t been really bad in a long, long time.
If you have to be careful about what products you use because of a skin condition, you should totally get bubble bath for sensitive skin.
31. Body Scrubs
We all know that I cannot shut up about this product, and neither can most girls. If we all find guys who look at us the way that we look at body scrubs, I’m pretty sure all of our relationship problems would be solved.
You’ll love using body scrubs because they smell delicious enough to eat, and what girl doesn’t want to lather in something that will guarantee she’ll be eaten in only the best way? You’re sure to satisfy someone’s sweet tooth! 😉
32. Robe
I don’t know if this makes me a weirdo or something, but I always judge spas by their robes.
Obvi, I’m obsessed with the comfiest robes, and yes you need one for your bath routine.
33. Moisturizer
Besties and besties, moisturizer. My skin always feels like butter every time I apply moisturizer after a nice, long bubble bath.
34. Perfume
Serious questions: Do you spray deodorant after a bath? Do you apply lotion after a bath? Why not apply perfume after a bath too?
I always feel sexy and so grown up after applying perfume after a bath, and I know you will too.
35. Baking Soda
Just some tips from me to you: A bubble bath that contains baking soda keeps your pH balanced and softens your skin.
If you have hard water, baking soda can also be used to create those picture-worthy bubbles that you’ve always wanted.
